Full metal crowns was my introduction to indirect restorations and it taught me a lot about tooth morphologies and the implications of the shape, emergence profile, and interproximal contacts. The morphology of a full metal crown can have a large influence on the success of the restoration and the natural cleansing of the oral cavity.

Finishing and polishing is one of my favourite parts about manufacturing full metal crowns as not only is it very satisfying to see the metal change from dull to shiney, but it is the stage where you see all the work that has led to this point pay off.
